Two Lucrative Revenue Streams. One Exceptional Opportunity.
Delta Harbour Assets is looking for an experienced, highly motivated Director of Sales to take ownership of two established and highly promising revenue channels.
The first is our retail precious-metals business, where we have built a lead-generation engine capable of delivering valuable sales opportunities to our team.
The second is our financial-planning partnership channel, where we have already established relationships with financial-planning firms and their advisors to generate referrals involving clients’ non-registered funds.
Both channels have significant growth potential.
We now need a seasoned sales professional who can step into the opportunity, convert leads, develop business, strengthen existing partnerships and create new sources of recurring revenue.
This is not a traditional sales-management position.
You will not be hired to recruit, train or manage a large sales team. You will be hired to personally produce revenue, develop relationships and turn an existing platform into a substantial book of business.
We will provide the infrastructure, leads, relationships and market opportunity.
You will provide the experience, initiative and execution.
A Rare Moment in the Precious-Metals Market
There are moments in business when timing, infrastructure and opportunity align.
We believe this is one of those moments.
Investors, business owners and financial professionals are increasingly concerned about government debt, inflation, geopolitical uncertainty, currency risk, financial-system concentration and the long-term preservation of purchasing power.
At the same time, gold, silver and other commodities may be entering a powerful new long-term cycle.
No market outcome is guaranteed, and commodities can be volatile. However, we believe the conditions are developing for an exceptional period of growth in physical precious metals.
For the right sales professional, this may represent a once-in-a-generation opportunity to build a significant and highly valuable book of business at the beginning of a major market shift.
The market conversation is already happening.
Our platform is already built.
Our lead-generation engine is operating.
Our financial-planning partnerships are already in place.
We are looking for someone who can take these assets and turn them into meaningful revenue.
About Delta Harbour Assets
Delta Harbour Assets helps Canadians acquire, securely store and liquidate physical precious metals, including gold, silver and platinum.
Our clients include investors, families, retirees and business owners seeking:
- Direct ownership of tangible assets;
- Greater portfolio diversification;
- Protection against currency and financial-system risks;
- Alternatives outside traditional financial institutions;
- Secure storage solutions; and
- Professional assistance purchasing and liquidating precious metals.
Our services include:
- Physical gold, silver and platinum;
- Direct and insured delivery;
- Secure vaulted storage;
- Registered precious-metals accounts;
- Wholesale bullion purchasing;
- Precious-metals education;
- Market information; and
- One-on-one client consultations.
Our approach is educational, professional and relationship-driven.
We do not believe in exaggerated claims or high-pressure selling. We believe in helping clients understand their options, make informed decisions and develop confidence in the solutions they choose.
The Opportunity
The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing revenue through two distinct but complementary sales channels.
Revenue Stream One: Retail Precious-Metals Sales
Delta Harbour has invested in developing a retail lead-generation engine designed to create valuable opportunities with Canadians interested in physical precious metals.
The company will provide qualified and potentially high-value leads.
Your responsibility will be to convert those leads into clients, repeat customers and referral sources.
This will involve:
- Responding quickly to new opportunities;
- Conducting effective discovery conversations;
- Understanding the client’s objectives and concerns;
- Educating prospects about physical precious metals;
- Presenting relevant products and solutions;
- Managing objections;
- Maintaining disciplined follow-up;
- Closing transactions;
- Generating repeat purchases; and
- Asking satisfied clients for referrals.
This is not an order-taking role.
You will be expected to actively manage each opportunity, maintain control of the sales process and build long-term client relationships.
Although the company will provide valuable leads, you will also be expected to generate business independently through networking, referrals, outbound prospecting and professional relationships.
The strongest candidate will understand that a company-generated lead is a starting point—not the limit of the opportunity.
Revenue Stream Two: Financial-Planning Partnerships
Delta Harbour has also invested considerable time in establishing valuable relationships with financial-planning firms and their advisors.
These partnerships create an additional source of business involving clients who have non-registered funds that may be suitable for physical precious metals.
Within many of these relationships, the advisor’s primary mandate is focused on the client’s registered accounts or on products available through the advisor’s existing platform.
Our program gives participating advisors an additional way to support appropriate client needs involving assets outside that traditional mandate.
This can provide meaningful benefits to all parties:
- Clients gain access to physical precious-metals expertise and solutions;
- Advisors can offer clients a broader and more complete service;
- Financial-planning firms can strengthen their client relationships;
- Delta Harbour receives qualified introductions; and
- Advisors may gain access to additional business opportunities they would not otherwise be positioned to serve.
The Director of Sales will be responsible for educating advisors about the program, explaining how it complements their existing client relationships and making it easy for them to introduce appropriate clients to Delta Harbour.
You will inherit existing partnerships that must be actively developed.
You will also be expected to establish new partnerships and expand the financial-advisor channel into a major source of recurring revenue.
All activities must be conducted in accordance with applicable laws, firm policies, referral arrangements, disclosure requirements and Delta Harbour’s compliance procedures.
Your Mandate
Your mandate is to build a substantial, durable and profitable book of business across both revenue channels.
You will be responsible for:
- Converting company-generated retail leads into clients and revenue;
- Developing repeat business and client referrals;
- Creating additional retail opportunities independently;
- Taking ownership of existing financial-planning partnerships;
- Increasing referral activity from existing partner firms and advisors;
- Educating advisors about the value of Delta Harbour’s program;
- Developing new financial-planning and professional partnerships;
- Building a predictable B2B referral pipeline; and
- Personally producing measurable revenue.
You will be expected to think and operate like the owner of your own business.
You will have autonomy, access to leadership and meaningful support—but you will also be accountable for results.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Sales and Lead Conversion
- Respond promptly and professionally to company-generated leads.
- Conduct consultative discovery conversations with prospective clients.
- Understand each prospect’s financial concerns, objectives, time horizon and level of precious-metals knowledge.
- Educate prospects about physical gold, silver and platinum.
- Explain available purchasing, delivery, storage and liquidation options.
- Present suitable Delta Harbour products and services based on the client’s expressed needs.
- Address questions and objections accurately and professionally.
- Maintain consistent follow-up until an appropriate decision is reached.
- Advance opportunities through the complete sales process.
- Close transactions and coordinate next steps.
- Build long-term relationships rather than focusing solely on one-time purchases.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Ask satisfied clients for referrals and introductions.
- Reactivate previous leads, inactive clients and unfinished opportunities.
- Generate additional retail opportunities through self-directed prospecting and networking.
Existing Financial-Advisor Partnerships
- Take ownership of Delta Harbour’s existing relationships with financial-planning firms and individual advisors.
- Learn the history, status and potential of each partnership.
- Identify active, underdeveloped and dormant relationships.
- Develop an individual growth plan for each priority partner.
- Establish a consistent communication and follow-up schedule.
- Educate advisors on the structure and benefits of Delta Harbour’s referral program.
- Explain how the program can complement the advisor’s existing client relationships.
- Help advisors identify situations in which a client may benefit from speaking with a precious-metals specialist.
- Make the referral process simple, professional and responsive.
- Follow up quickly on every advisor introduction.
- Deliver an exceptional experience to referred clients.
- Keep partners appropriately informed while protecting client confidentiality.
- Identify opportunities for joint webinars, seminars, client events and educational presentations.
- Ask for additional introductions where appropriate.
- Increase the number, quality and frequency of advisor-generated referrals.
- Ensure that all partnership activity complies with applicable firm and regulatory requirements.
Existing relationships should not be treated as a passive contact list.
They are valuable business assets that must be developed thoughtfully and consistently.
New Partnership Development
- Identify financial-planning firms and advisors that may benefit from partnering with Delta Harbour.
- Build and maintain a targeted prospect list.
- Research firms and advisors before initiating contact.
- Develop effective outreach strategies.
- Secure introductory meetings with decision-makers and individual advisors.
- Present Delta Harbour’s value proposition clearly and credibly.
- Demonstrate how the program can complement the firm’s existing services.
- Address operational, compliance and client-experience questions.
- Work with company leadership to structure appropriate partnership arrangements.
- Coordinate onboarding and education for new partner firms.
- Develop launch plans for newly established relationships.
- Maintain momentum after the partnership agreement is established.
- Convert partnerships into active and recurring sources of referrals.
Signing a partnership agreement is not the finish line.
The objective is to create an active relationship that consistently produces client introductions and revenue.
Advisor Education and Engagement
You will be expected to become a confident and credible educator for financial professionals.
Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting meetings with advisors and firm leadership;
- Delivering presentations and webinars;
- Explaining the fundamentals of physical precious metals;
- Describing Delta Harbour’s client process;
- Clarifying the role of direct delivery, secure storage and registered accounts;
- Explaining how the program can address suitable non-registered client assets;
- Providing advisors with approved educational resources;
- Answering questions accurately;
- Following up after training sessions;
- Identifying advisors who are most likely to engage;
- Developing additional education for underperforming partnerships; and
- Keeping advisors informed about relevant products, services and market developments.
The objective is not simply to tell advisors that the program exists.
The objective is to help them understand it, believe in its value and feel confident introducing appropriate clients.
Pipeline and CRM Management
- Maintain complete and accurate records of all client and partner activity.
- Document discovery conversations and relevant client information.
- Record follow-up dates and next steps.
- Maintain realistic opportunity stages, values and expected close dates.
- Distinguish between company-generated and self-generated business.
- Track retail, advisor-generated and partnership-development pipelines separately.
- Record advisor meetings, presentations and referral activity.
- Identify stalled opportunities and take corrective action.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Maintain visibility into the health of both revenue streams.
- Use the company’s CRM consistently and professionally.
Management should be able to understand your pipeline, priorities and expected results without reconstructing them from emails or memory.
Product and Market Expertise
You do not need to arrive as a precious-metals expert.
You do need to become one quickly.
You will be expected to develop a strong working knowledge of:
- Physical gold, silver and platinum;
- Bullion coins, bars and rounds;
- Product premiums and spreads;
- Storage and delivery options;
- Registered precious-metals accounts;
- Non-registered precious-metals purchases;
- Wholesale bullion;
- Product liquidity;
- Purchasing and liquidation procedures;
- Market terminology;
- Factors influencing precious-metals markets;
- Common client questions and concerns;
- Delta Harbour’s value proposition; and
- Applicable compliance and documentation requirements.
When you do not know the answer to a question, you will be expected to say so, obtain the correct information and follow up promptly.

You are entrepreneurial enough to create opportunities, disciplined enough to follow a process and credible enough to represent Delta Harbour with sophisticated clients and financial professionals.
You take responsibility for your results.
When performance is below expectations, you do not blame the leads, the market or the company. You examine your activity, pipeline, message and execution—and make the necessary adjustments.

- An inbound order-taking position;
- A role in which all business is provided by the company;
- A relationship-management position without a revenue target;

- A market-commentary or research position; or
- A role for someone who avoids prospecting and closing.
The title is Director of Sales.
The responsibility is personal production and revenue growth.
You Are Unlikely to Succeed If You:
- Require constant supervision or motivation;
- Depend entirely on inbound leads;
- Avoid outbound prospecting;
- Are uncomfortable asking for business;
- Do not follow up consistently;
- Want to manage a team rather than sell personally;
- Treat partnership agreements as the end of the sales process;

Why Join Delta Harbour Now?
Most salespeople spend their careers trying to build one reliable source of business.
This role provides access to two.
On the retail side, Delta Harbour has built a lead-generation engine designed to connect our sales team with Canadians actively interested in physical precious metals.
On the partnership side, we have already opened doors with financial-planning firms and their advisors.
The successful candidate will not be starting from zero.
You will be stepping into a platform with real assets, established relationships and considerable untapped potential.
At the same time, precious metals may be entering one of the most important market periods in a generation.
Capturing that opportunity will require more than enthusiasm.
It will require discipline, credibility, follow-up, education, relationship development and an ability to close.
For the right salesperson, this may become the defining opportunity of their career.
